Faraj Al-Jehani
Faraj was a scout at the 5th for three years while his father worked in London. He was a good, kind, thoughtful, caring young man. He took a full part in the life of the group and he even represented us and the The Scout Association with his brother Ahmed as part of the 1st ever contingent of UK scouts to attend the Hajj.
He was training to be a dentist at the Libyan School of Medical Sciences and had nearly qualified. Faraj Al-Jehani died this morning at around 0300 UTC in one of the Benghazi Hospitals, Libya. From what we believe, the family home in Benghazi was struck by mortar fire shortly after Islam morning prayer.
Faraj was one of five brothers; two of whom (Anas and Ahmed) also were members of the 5th. He turned only 23 on 4th January.
Faraj Al- Jehani الله يرحمه ويدخله فسيح جناته
Please remember his family and friends in your prayers.
